Tam High Foundation Quick Facts

  • The Foundation was started in 1996 by concerned parents who wanted to raise funds to support teachers
  • It has since raised over $5 million
  • It is an Independent 501(c)3 organization
  • The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of over 24 parents

Operations:

The Foundation has an office on campus in Building 13 next to Auto Shop.

Grants Process:

Teachers submit grant proposals that are evaluated by the THF Grants committee and voted on at board meetings in the Spring and Fall.

Subsidiaries

The Foundation has three subsidiary organizations, each governed by a separate Board that liaises with the THF Board.  These organizations provide more specialized support for the fine arts department (PATH), the music department (THUMB), and the drama department (CTE).
